Kevin Luttjehuizen is the owner of Harmony Jewellers Ltd located in Grimsby & Dunnville, as well as co-owner of Harmony Fine Jewellers in Burlington. Kevin is a lifelong resident of the local area, born in Grimsby and growing up in Beamsville. Kevin’s father, Bert Luttjehuizen, opened Harmony House Jewellers in 1975, and Kevin joined the family business in 1983. Kevin trained as a bench jeweller at George Brown College as well as factory training at Lee’s Jewellery Manufacturing of Hamilton, he also trained as a Clock Maker at George Brown collage. In 1985 the Dunnville location was opened, and Kevin took over the day-to-day operations for that location splitting his time between Grimsby and Dunnville while looking after the jewellery and clock repair business. Over time, Kevin and his wife Linda would come to absorb day to day management of the entire business, and in 1999 Kevin and Linda officially purchased the business from his father. In 2010 Kevin and Linda were able to purchase the Grimsby building and along with help from the Grimsby Historic Society and the Town of Grimsby the front facade was restored to compliment its former original glory as the Canadian Imperial Bank. In 2012 with the digital age in full swing Kevin re branded and shortened the business name to “Harmony Jewellers Ltd.” and launched the business’ first website HarmonyJewellers.ca. In the spring of 2018 Kevin partnered with General Manager, Lacey Horn, to open Harmony Fine Jewellers in Downtown Burlington. Kevin continues to operate and grow the business with the core values and standards set by his father from day one; Quality, Service and Value.
