Though most often associated with the world of aviation, Breitling has a historical and important connection to the world of underwater exploration. Introduced in 1957 the SuperOcean was developed for professional divers and military use. The first example boasted water resistance of 200 feet, which at the time was a most impressive accomplishment. This example is a modern version of these classic divers watches. The 44mm stainless steel case is water resistant to 2000 meters, sporting a screw down crown, case back as well as a discreet helium escape valve at the 9 o’clock potion. The stainless steel shark mesh bracelet adds an extra punch of style. The matte black dial has orange accents as well as large luminous number markers and hands for optimum visibility in low light or darkness. The divers scale bezel is also matte black with a clean, defined look. This watch comes with original box and papers.
