IWC Schaffhausen has had close connections with diving since the 1960s. In 1967, the growing popularity of SCUBA diving prompted the company to introduce the first Aquatimer. This example of the modern Aquatimer has a few, very unique features which sets it apart from its competitors and counterparts: The first and most distinguishable of these features is the divers bezel which is set under the sapphire crystal. Since the divers scale bezel is fully protected the numbers are luminous, which makes for an impressive look in low light or darkness. The bezel is adjusted by turning the chronograph re-set pusher located at the 4 o’clock position. The 42mm stainless steel case is both robust and stylish. The perfect watch for a diving enthusiast or the adventurous man who is looking for a durable tool watch. Box and papers are not included.
