I’m a firm believer that necessity is the mother of invention. Bread out of necessity, the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso is a true legend in the world of horology. In the early 1930s, a group of Polo players found themselves in need of a timepiece robust enough to survive to the brutality of their sport. Initially the thought was to create some sort of grill to cover the face of the watch similar to those used on military watches during WW1. Fortunately, that concept was scrapped for the much more innovative and aesthetically pleasing Reverso design. This example, the Squadra Hometime, carries the art deco inspired look of a classic Reverso while adding a useful second time-zone function, which remains hidden under the hour hand until being used. This watch come with box and original, clean warranty card.
