Known by collectors as La Bomba, this Submersible’s 1000m case is a massive, heavy, work of industrial and utilitarian art. Made to serve the purpose of deep/saturation diving, this is a true professional tool watch. The case is brushed stainless steel with dimensions of 44mm diameter by 18mm thick. The crystal itself is 5mm thick. The crown locking mechanism is significantly larger than on other Luminor cases. This 1000 meter water resistant case is referred to as La Bomba, which is Itallian for The Bomb. Purpose built with a helium escape valve and a unidirectional diver’s timing bezel, this Submersible is approximately 25% bigger than the next largest Submersible. The dial is a matte black with mustard luminous hour markers. Subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o’clock and date at 3 o’clock. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer automatic winding Panerai caliber. Produced in a limited edition of only 500 pieces, this watch comes with the original box and papers.
