Description
Abraham-Louis Perrelet invented a self-winding mechanism in 1770 for pocket watches. Perrelet’s watch worked on the same principle as a modern wristwatch. For this reason Perrelet is thus widely acknowledged as the inventor of the basic movement known today as an AUTOMATIC (self-winding) movement.
This watch features a 45mm stainless steel case with screw down crown, rotating bezel with yellow accents, black dial with luminous hands and hour markers, three sub dials at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock position, date display between the 4 and 5 o’clock position, screw down case back, stainless steel bracelet with fold over clasp. Water resistant to 777m. A great divers watch, this solid watch comes complete with box and papers..
