This Tudor Black Bay 58 effortlessly walks the line between vintage and modern. In my opinion it leans a bit more to the vintage side, but that’s a good thing. At first glance you will notice the absence of crown guards. Then, the black dial with pink gold, gilt number plots and snowflake hand set grabs your attention. The matte aluminum divers bezel with red triangle at the 60 mark are a further nod to the history behind this watch. The case has subtle polished bevels running down the lugs giving a taste of refinement. The rivet bracelet finishes off the watch in true vintage inspired fashion. Even with all of these homage styling features this watch remains modern thanks in part to it’s robust and solid feel on the wrist. As well, the overall fit and finish is modern, with just enough high polish to make it noticeable. But you will find the most modern aspect beneath the dial. The Black bay 58 is powered by the in house Calibre MT5402. With a nod to the past and its eyes on the future this watch will see a great deal of wrist time. Purchased new in October of 2020 this watch comes with full box, papers and the remainder of the 5 year Tudor guarantee….
