Tudor first introduced the Prince Oysterdate Submariner in 1954. The Submariner went through subtle design changes until 1997 when the family was discontinued in 1999. In the past the Tudor Submariner was considered an underdog when compared to the Rolex Submariner, but as any watch collector will tell you this is a falsehood for sure. Many of the vintage Tudor Subs command top dollar as do modern pieces within the family. This example is from 1992. Beginning in 1989 Tudor went back to the classic dial and hand design that we see in the first models from 1954. Growing in popularity this Submariner will be a great investment and a fantastic daily driver! In addition this watch comes with original box, papers and even the anchor.
