1975 Where It All Began

With a passion for people and geology, Bert Luttjehuizen (Lincoln) embarks on opening Harmony House Jewellers in Grimsby located at 5 Main St W.

1977 The Downtown Core

Harmony House Jewellers moved to their current Grimsby location at 37 Main St W. In 1876, this was the site of a blacksmith and woodworking shop, and in 1927 the Canadian Bank of Commerce built this fine building. In 1965, the name of the bank was changed to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

1983 Family Business

With business growing, Bert welcomes his son, Kevin, to the business as an apprentice bench jeweler and clockmaker.

1985 Downtown Dunnville

Harmony House Jewellers opens a second location in the downtown core of Dunnville, located at 157 Queen St. Kevin takes on daily operations of the new store.

1999 The Next Generation

Kevin and his wife, Linda, become the next generation of Luttjehuizen family business owners, and purchase the Harmony House Jewellers company from Kevin's parents.

2009 Store Renovation

Harmony House Jewellers in Grimsby completes a large renovation, after purchasing and merging both sides of the building. The company was rebranded to Harmony Jewellers Ltd.

2014 Facade Upgrade

Harmony Jewellers Ltd. Grimsby takes on another renovation. Working with both the Town of Grimsby and the Grimsby Historical Society, the building's facade was Historically restored as best possible to reflect the beauty of the original building from 1927.

2018 Luxury Showrooms

Harmony Jewellers Grimsby takes on an interior renovation, adding a private and exclusive Luxury Showroom and expanding their Luxury Watch section.

2020 45 Years in Business

Harmony Jewellers celebrated 45 years of business, as well as being one of the most established family owned jewellery stores in the Niagara Region.
